Quilling Cactus in a Pot
Quilling pots with plants has been my obsession and I have made countless number of them. Besides being dainty, flower pots are perfect for fridge magnets. Instead of flower pots I decided to make a Cactus plant. Its simple and easy to make even for beginners.
All you need are a few yellow tight coils of extremely small size and around 12 or 13 green eye shaped coils.
Since its a Cactus in a Pot, of course we need a pot. For the pot, all you need is a cone Roll a number of strips and stick the edge. Slowly push the center to form a cone shape. Once you get the desired size stop pushing. (remember to be gentle as possible or else it will end up in a mess). That's why I say Quilling teaches me Patience ;)
Join the green leaf shaped coils in the following manner to form a plant. Garnish it will a few yellow tight coils and Bingo! Stick it in the pot and you have your own Cactus Plant!!!!
