Quilling Doll

My Quilling Doll was a success after multiple attempts. Had started it a number of times but didn't finish till yesterday.

I made the hands and legs by rolling rectangle pieces of paper and then adding shoes to the legs, Two oval tight coils was attached to complete the hand.

I made the face with pink as i could not fine skin color paper strips anywhere. As for the hair i stuck strips of yellow paper and created loose coils at the end to look like hair

I finally came up with this idea of the body after a lot of research on the net. So here its is!!!!

The i joined all the parts to form My First Quilling Character. A few features i added to face and this is what i came up with. Leave a comment below to tell me what you think of it. Thanks for reading ;-)

3D Quilling - Bike

A couple of weeks back i wanted to make a "Thank You" gift for a friend. Since he was a bike lover what else could i think of but a Quilling Bike!!!!

This one was made from Blue and Yellow tight coils and a few loose coils to give the final look. This is a Fridge Magnet  and is completely out of paper. Took me a little more time than i thought it would since i do not know anything about bikes. With a little help from my husband this is what i came up with!!!!

To make it a little more attractive i made this little card in the shape of a key to say Thank You. Here's a picture with all the final touches.
